The Vampire II by ~Fatelin:iconFatelin:

Fireflies lit the air ablaze settling the nightly skies into bliss. Terrors only lurked deep within the forests of lively death.

Many slept unaware of the vampires' dinner time. Humans could rest of what they thought security actually was, however, one girl stirred.

Her memories of the pitch light night lingered freshly in the pool of what became her lovely nightmares...

Few grew close that of a lone vampire. For those that do enter through the keyhole from that of a locked door.

He's an incomplete gesture of kindness. The mind is a bundle of white roses enveloped in thorns. These flowers give off a certain unique beauty. The thorns alert travelers of the true darkness that lurks.

Beyond this treacherous pathway shattered memories lie within fluttery, sterling bats that seem hard to catch.

Rain clouds watch over the breathless man that appears to hide under a midnight cloak. What one sees is flowing locks of white. A pale hand that seems weary to reach out. Silence looms over him as he turns from sight.

A blink is all one need for his figure to vanish deep within the gray clouds of emptiness. Rosy fields decay into wild daisy flowers. Clouds dissipate as the sun takes over. And all come into view of a brick wall. A black door locked and as for the key...

It is out there somewhere in the flowery fields of mystery. Its out there to be obtained by those who truly seek guidance. So on the other side he'll wait for her, he'll pull up a chair and just...laugh to hide his true intentions. Smile a flash of pearly fangs and whisper, "Mary...stay out of my dreams.."

"AH!" Mary sat from bed in fright as the night lit her precious face. Tears of fear, shifty eyes of unknowing, and deep thoughts of that night will remain. Now tell her, will she be all right? Or...just become food for the future of the night?

Author's Comments

This is a sequel to The Vampire. It is about Mary having a nightmare of her lovely vampire many moons later. It was hard to write, but I tried. It explains how twisted dreams or thoughts can actually be for a individual.
